What is a Learning Object?
A Learning Object is a short electronic activity. Think of it like a song on your iPod. And just like every person has different tastes in music, each student has different needs in a learning environment. So just like you can create your own playlist with your songs, Wowzers can create a 'playlist' of Learning Objects for each student, specific to their own needs
Wowzers employs different types of learning objects to provide each student the proper blend of content. Because all students learn differently Wowzers provides different options to appeal to these divergent learning styles.
For example, Lessons provide more direct instruction, whereas Games and Quests require students to move higher on Bloom's to deploy understanding.
