Multiple Touchpoints
Wowzers can be deployed electronically using multiple devices, including tablets, laptops, desktops, and interactive whiteboards. If students have limited access to computers during the day instructors can introduce concepts with lessons on the interactive whiteboard or using printed hybrid learning activities. Then students complete individual activities on a flexible schedule anywhere they have access to an Internet-connected device (learning stations, after-school, library, home).
Scripted Curriculum
Wowzers reduces preparation time by providing scripted, standards-based content. Wowzers uses powerful analytical tools to prescribe specific learning paths for each student. Instructors spend less time preparing and grading - and more time delivering specific instruction to students. A principal that uses Wowzers in her school put it this way: "No two students work at the same pace so the teacher is able to support them individually when they struggle. Not having to stand and deliver the entire period allows the teacher to move around as students work.."
Automatic Grading
Wowzers collects robust data on student performance in order to create customized learning paths for each student in real-time. Wowzers shows instructors and administrators reports on student performance and suggests differentiated learning paths. All without having to grade a single paper!
Homework/Hybrid Learning
Wowzers uses powerful data to prescribe the correct printed homework for each student. Hybrid group learning activities give instructors a powerful tool to engage students in real-world and collaborative learning challenges related to the electronic content.
Home Connection
Students with access to Internet-connected computers outside of school can access Wowzers. Instructors can either prescribe specific electronic content for 'homework' and track student performance, OR instructors can give students access to a more user-defined experience driven by the student’s curiosity that encourages exploration.
